A Boomer Bus Ambassador is simply a child who agrees to follow the bus riding rules. So often, children and guardians only receive notification and recognition when the child has been bad on the bus. The reason is to promote better behavior. The certificate serves as a positive approach to achieving the same goal. This certificate (suitable for framing) can be used in a variety of ways. At the discretion of the transportation director and/or bus driver, it could be given as an incentive after a child and guardian signs and returns the form agreeing to follow the bus riding rules. Stars could be added for each month the child continues to obey the rules. It could also be given to a child as a reward when they have behaved on the bus. It is at your discretion how this document can be used. However, this certificate can serve as a tremendous incentive for achieving the desired goal. Encourage your students to be Boomer Bus Ambassadors! Invest in the future of bus safety and the attitude of a child! Children can also receive a sticker recognizing them as a Boomer Bus Ambassador when they receive their certificate.
